Our handmade creations are made from natural materials, offering a rich variety of textures, grains, colours, and shapes. As such, no two pieces are ever alike.
Because timber naturally expands and contracts, over time you might experience slight splitting, cracking, or a reduction in natural oils. To preserve the longevity of your pieces, we recommend sealing raw timber products. We offer Fiddes Hard Oil Wax as an option and are happy to assist with any questions you may have.
Exposing timber and rattan to direct sunlight, moisture, or water will naturally cause them to change colour, enhancing the unique character of each piece—especially if left unsealed. In our humid climate, mould growth can occur, but sealed surfaces will be more easier to clean to maintain their beauty.
We cannot ship these larger items without a crane truck which increases the shipping prices significantly.
